Sometimes there are plans that never really happen.
Plans which we think will make us who we are
Plans which we know will help us grow
Plans which will make us fulfill our dreams
Plans which we think can reach us to the top
Plans are just plans to help us know what we want and what to do
If things didn’t work out as planned, I can only see 3 choices
1. To try and try until you succeed, knowing that you will have your time for everything
2. To try again but with a much better plan (was able to look into the details on why it didn’t work out.)
3. To have a new set of plan
I have a plan and I have been waiting for it for quite sometime.
All of them were already there as planned
and I am the only one who was left behind.
It’s painful that you yourself knew what your capabilities are
and thinking that you can do better if you are there too.
I learned to embrace jealousy and insecurity.
I learned to be negative and pity myself.
What will I do?
Some says that my time will come and try again later. Hahaha
I did.
I waited.
I am trying again but nothing happened.
I tried to ask on how long should I wait.
Months?
Years?
I don’t know and they don’t know either.
I managed to do the 1st and 2nd choices that I have listed
but I guess it is not working for my plan.
Now I don’t have anymore option
and I am left with the 3rd one. hahaha
I know it’s hard to completely have a new plan,
To start a new one
But I guess new plan is what I needed.

"The thing about plans is they don't take into account the unexpected,
so when we're thrown a curve ball, whether it's in the O.R. or in life,
we have to improvise.
Of course, some of us are better at it than others.
Some of us just have to move on to plan B,
and make the best of it.
And sometimes what we want is exactly what we need.
But sometimes,
sometimes what we need is a new plan."

the tricky part on plans that didn't work out is figuring out if it's because of something in the plan, or the plan itself.
ReplyDeletebut that's not the end-all be-all of it. the hard part comes only afterwards - when we attempt again, whether with a modified one or a new one.
even the best laid plans don't normally push through as planned. it's true that flexibility and adaptability with whatever happens unexpectedly along the way are essential keys to success.
